The UK Government has announced a new two-year post-study work visa for international students, which will open doors for Sri Lankan graduates in the UK to get a head-start on their career as soon as they have completed their studies. This will be available from the 2020/21 academic year onwards.
Transfer Options
Based on your secondary school qualifications, we offer a range of options through the transfer pathway.
For Student’s After A/L
Student with good A/L results could join the DHEP offered by CIRP and completed either one year or two years before they transfer to UK.
Option 1
You can complete the 1st year modules of the DHEP (8 CIRP modules) and enter the 2nd year of the Bachelor of Psychology degree at in UK. This is considered the 1 2 option, as you will study One (01) year at CIRP and Two years in UK.
Option 2
You can complete the 2 year DHEP (16 CIRP modules) and enter the Final year of the Bachelor of Psychology degree at ECU. This is considered the 2 1 option, as you will study Two (02) years at CIRP and One year in UK.
For Students After O/L
Students with good O/L results could join the CIRP international Foundation in Psychology and enter the CIRP-UK Transfer Pathway
Option 3
You can complete the Foundation Programs and the 1st year modules of the DHEP (8 CIRP modules) and enter the 2nd year of the Bachelor of Psychology degree in UK. This is considered the 2 2 option, as you will study One (02) years at CIRP and Two (02) years in UK.
Option 4
You can complete the Foundation Programs and the 2 year DHEP (16 CIRP modules) and enter the Final year of the Bachelor of Psychology degree in UK. This is considered the 3 1 option, as you will study Two (03) years at CIRP and One (01) year in UK .
