Postgraduate Diploma in Ayurveda Pharmacology in Nutraceuticals Product Development

The overall aim of this Postgraduate Diploma is to produce graduates who will be efficient in the
field of nutraceuticals product development and facilitating them to correlate it with the concept of
Ayurveda and modern knowledge for being a successful professional in the field of product
development. In this course, student concurrently can gain the confident and the innovative
thinking on product development and this will enhance their knowledge on marketing, global
interests, quality control of products with modern technologies and then the legal requirements.
Additionally, this course will empower the research capabilities of the individuals to widen the
areas in the field. Knowledge and the skill on product development enrich the manufacturing or
developing of novel products which are desirable, trustworthy and are intuitive and accessible

Eligibility Criteria

• Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) Degree from a recognized
institution; or
• A Diploma in Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (DAMS); or
• A Diploma in Siddha Ayurveda Medicine and Surgery (DSAMS);
and
• Completion of one year internship and has registered under the Ayurveda
Medical Council;
Or ;
• A Bachelor of Science (BSc) or any other equal degree ;
and
• Satisfactory completion of one year work experience acceptable to the FIM;
and
• A good working knowledge of English.
