Overview of the course
Taught at NTU in Mansfield, we are providing access to alternative routes in higher education. We’ve built qualifications with the local job market in mind. Each of our higher education courses is relevant, hands-on and work focused.This course is ideal if you are already working in engineering and want to progress in your career as well as those who want to work in the engineering sector. You’ll get a broad knowledge through studying a wide range of engineering subjects to develop technical, communication and management skills needed by today’s technical engineers.As the level of automation in the Mansfield and Ashfield region grows, this course will align and work with the local industry to fulfill local demands and future-proof the workforce.
Entry requirements
For students from Sri Lanka
Sri Lankan A/Levels, English language entry requirements are Sri Lankan GCE A-Level: Grade C, IELTS 6.0 with minimum of 5.5 in each component or alternative English language qualification accepted by the University at the appropriate grade Students who do not meet the English language requirements may be required to take a pre-sessional English language (PEAP) course
For international students
IELTS (Academic only) – 7.0 (or better) (no component lower than 7.0); TOEFL (paper based) – 600 (or better) (with a minimum Test of Written English Score of TWE 5); TOEFL (electronic or computer based) – 250 (or better) (with essay rating of at least 5); TOEFL (internet based) – 95 (or better) (with 22 minimum in all bands); Pearson (PTE Academic) – 65 (or better) (with no communicative score less than 65); Cambridge English Scale Scores for FCE, CAE and CPE – Cambridge English Advanced (CAE) and Cambridge English Proficiency (CPE)/ 185 or above. No less than 185 in each skill.
