Masters in Teacher Librarianship

Introduction
The MTL programme is designed for those who require a higher qualification in Teacher
Librarianship to lead the school library and information resource centers, especially in
the government schools. The course contents are designed in such a way that they
develop an understanding and expertise in Teacher Librarianship through a series of
educational experience. All students study a core of seven subjects. Each Subject will
be of 40 hours duration. In addition. the students will complete a research project on a
selected topic and produce a dissertation, which will be of equal weight of core
subjects.
