Master of Environmental Management

Introduction

Offered by Department of Zoology and Environmental Management, Faculty of Science together with Faculty of Graduate Studies, University of Kelaniya. Environmental Management postgraduate programs focus on developing the skills and practical exposure that are compatible to find innovative environmental solutions to effectively address the current environmental issues faced by the society as well as conserve and manage natural resources appreciating sustainable development measures nationally and globally.

Objectives

To pursue rewarding careers related to environmental management area in a wide range of professional and industrial sectors including government agencies, corporate sector, environmental and business consultancies and manufacturing and service industries.

To enhance the professional capabilities of variety of disciplines especially middle and strategic level managers in industrial, corporate and government sectors, by having in-depth knowledge and high-level skills in environmental management relevant to the professional practice and research activities.
