The main objective of Higher Diploma in Management program is to provide HRM knowledge, skills and attitudes of among the participants.

The Higher Diploma in Human Resource Management (HDHRM) program conducted by IHRA at the University of Colombo caters to a diverse target group, including recent graduates seeking to specialize in HR, entry-level HR professionals looking to advance their careers, mid-career professionals aiming to enhance their qualifications, career changers interested in transitioning into HR, managers and supervisors seeking to better manage their teams, entrepreneurs in need of HR expertise for their organizations, government and NGO employees engaged in HR-related roles, and international students seeking a multicultural academic environment for specialized HR education.

Possesses any one of the following qualifications:
(1) Passed GCE (A/L) Examination with six month work experience

OR
(b) Accredited prior learning program of minimum of 30 credits with six month work experience

AND

(2) Demonstrated competence in the relevant field and potential for future career development;

AND

(3) Good working knowledge of the language of instruction of the Higher/ Executive Diploma program.
