BSc (Hons) in Biotechnology

Career opportunities are available as Scientists or Managers in the Medical Laboratories, in the Veterinary Industry, the Pharmaceutical Industry, in Biomedical Engineering, in the Agricultural Industry, the area of product manufacturing and Production, Nutritional Biotechnology, in Bioinformatics, in forensic investigations and Marine Biotechnology.

Entry requirements

– Three ‘S’ passes at G.C.E. Advanced Level examinations covering Biology and Chemistry OR three ‘D’ passes at Edexcel or Cambridge Advanced Level examinations covering Biology and Chemistry with obtained at one and the same sitting in the Science stream.

– A Pass in the Aptitude Test conducted by the Institute.
