Course Description
It is indeed a very satisfactory experience and this is why more and younger people are attracted to this profession. Physiotherapists are also known as physical therapists where they opt for a technical job or a managerial job or a lecturing post. Physiotherapists contribute in a variety of areas such as industrial and automobile accidents, sports injuries, physical disabilities. This qualification provides the opportunity to develop into a qualified competent practitioner of physiotherapy. Furthermore, gives a challenging and rewarding educational experience that enables students to develop as competent, evidence-based and patient-centered physiotherapy practitioners, capable of making a valuable contribution to the workplace.
Program Objectives
1. Demonstrate an understanding of basic sciences;
2. Demonstrate knowledge of human anatomy and physiology, biochemistry, molecular genetics, immunology and microbiology;
3. Understand the factors and processes which contribute to human health and disease;
4. Execute independent research centered on data generation, demonstrate critical analysis and application of results obtained;
5. Design research protocols and use statistical techniques to enable valid analysis and interpretations of experimental results;
6. Use effectively transferable skills in communication, IT, numeracy and data analysis, team working, critical thinking, setting tasks, problem-solving and self-management;
7. Take account of and act in accordance with health and safety policies, ethical considerations.

Academic Pathways
After completion of the Bachelor of Physiotherapy, students can follow their Master and PhD of Physiotherapy or any healthcare-related fields.
