NIBM – Kandy Campus

Established in 1996, the Kandy Centre meets the growing demand in the Central Province of Sri Lanka through training programmes in both computer and management development studies. This Centre offers a wide range of IT and management programmes for more than 600 students at a time. This centre, equipped with modern computer labs and classroom facilities commands a panoramic view of Kandy including the Dalada Maligawa.

Kandy is located at the strategic center of the island where anyone from different parts of the island could easily reach to pursue their higher educational aspirations. Kandy is also unique for its cultural and historical value embedded with the Temple of Tooth known as ‘Dalada Maligawa’ which has created a peaceful living for all the communities living in the region. Focusing on the concept of ‘Enterprising Hearts’ NIBM takes the initiative in empowering the learners with innovative mindsets enhancing their capability to ascend the career ladder with a broader vision. With a combination of three divisions, School of Business, School of Computing and School of Languages Kandy NIBM functions with a wide focus upholding innovative teaching methodologies, creating enterprising and competent graduates and opening diverse career paths with promising opportunities. The prime objective of Kandy NIBM is to produce skilled entrepreneurs who have the energy and determination to identify business opportunities and the drive to overcome the hurdles and possible pitfalls incorporating the language skills and technological expertise.
