In the United Kingdom, Savile Row is a street which host most of the bespoke tailoring shops, is spanning less than 300 meters and occupy the worlds most influenced tailoring boutiques such as Anderson & Sheppard, Banshee of Savile Row, Cad & The Dandy, Davies & Son, Dege & Skinner, John Kent. There have been tailoring boutiques in Savile Row Street since the late 18th century and some of them are still in business and even serve the Royal Family since.
In Italy the major bespoke labels are, Boglioli, Brian Dales, Etro, Corneliani, Daniele Alessandrini, Giorgio Armani, Lardini having the same recognition in the international arena and attention to detail.
Bespoke tailoring or custom tailoring is clothing made to an individual buyer’s specifications by a tailor manually, since this is a high end product which cannot be mass produced or duplicated easily it requires properly trained professional master tailors to make.

Our Chairman/ Chief Lecturer Mr. Wasantha Rathnayaka is a pioneer in the field of bespoke tailoring with over 40 years of experience from which, for over 16 years owning a bespoke Tailoring business to supply suits to the major designer labels in the United Kingdom & Italy. He has hands on expertise, technical know-hows of the trade, trade secrets and is well capable to take on the challenge of molding and mentoring young enthusiastic tailors.
The course is structured in a way that a student can major in all three parts as in full suits, trousers and shirts (for both men’s and women’s) or one of the above individual part as you prefer, to start your own business, direct application for a Masters in a country of choice with proper training to face the practical examination, carrier path development or be a valued team member of a prestigious label or to add value to your existing business.
Apart from the above we will be giving consultation for our students and businesses on how to operate, place equipment, training existing staff both sales and garment construction.
