Chartered Manager Degree Apprenticeship BA (Hons)

Overview of the course

The Chartered Manager Degree Apprenticeship (CMDA) is a new trailblazer apprenticeship programme, created by the Chartered Institute (CMI), the Chartered Association of Business Schools (CABS) and higher education providers. The aim of the course is to develop managers who can take responsibility for people , projects, operations and/or services and deliver long term organisational success. The course structure and design is based upon an integrated and thematic approach. Our professional development module underpins the course and supports the development of behavioural and interpersonal skills for both academic and work based purposes.The typical duration for this apprenticeship is four years, this may vary depending on the experience of the apprentice. You will be completing a BA (Hons) Management and Leadership degree (three years) which is outlined below and in your final year you will be completing a portfolio of work.

For students from Sri Lanka

Sri-Lankan A levels, English language entry requirements are Sri Lankan GCE A-Level: Grade C, IELTS 6.0 with minimum of 5.5 in each component or alternative English language qualification accepted by the University at the appropriate grade Students who do not meet the English language requirements may be required to take a pre-sessional English language (PEAP) course

For international students

IELTS (Academic only) – 7.0 (or better) (no component lower than 7.0); TOEFL (paper based) – 600 (or better) (with a minimum Test of Written English Score of TWE 5); TOEFL (electronic or computer based) – 250 (or better) (with essay rating of at least 5); TOEFL (internet based) – 95 (or better) (with 22 minimum in all bands); Pearson (PTE Academic) – 65 (or better) (with no communicative score less than 65); Cambridge English Scale Scores for FCE, CAE and CPE – Cambridge English Advanced (CAE) and Cambridge English Proficiency (CPE)/ 185 or above. No less than 185 in each skill.
