The International Hotel School of Mount Lavinia Hotel provides a launching pad for those interested in taking up careers in the Hospitality Industry. Students may enter with Ordinary Level and / or Advanced Level qualifications and embark on exciting careers in Sri Lanka or overseas. The curricular contains an unique blend of Theory and Practical, which makes the courses at the school an exciting and rewarding experience. The certificates issued from The International Hotel School are recognized the world over hence the possession of a certificate is a passport to employment, as students require no more further recommendation. The International Hotel School has spacious class rooms which comfortably accommodate more than 35 students in each, a spacious library, a well equipped Kitchen and facilities for Food and Beverage Services. Students will also have the opportunity to make educational visits and participate in social and environmental protection programs. The International Hotel School has an Alumni of more than 700 students currently working locally and internationally at all Managerial levels. We are proud to add that the International Hotel School is the only functional hotel school in Sri Lanka and was awarded for the Most Outstanding Tourism Education and Training Effort for 2011/2012 at the last held Sri Lanka Tourism Awards.
