Course Description
This course has been designed to facilitate your understanding of the concepts of common mental health disorders, epidemiology, etiology, pathophysiology and your learning in the therapeutic nursing care of the patient with mental health problems using an evidenced-based approach. The role of the patient in their recovery and the skills necessary to conduct a comprehensive mental health assessment are of particular emphasis.
